I am not saying that man shouldn’t take care of himself, but to think that a woman will ONLY want you for what car you drive is just sad. I have never lost an opportunity because I’m driving a hand-me-down chrysler. My personality and my looks overcome, but I wouldn’t date someone that shallow in the first place.

a car is like a social status. you can’t be wearing garbage clothes, have a shitty haircut, and an ugly car and expect to get lots of women even though you are the same person. you have to present yourself in an appealing manner

You forgot, that Diesels in the states use to cost much more than un leaded gasoline.
A 50 MPG Prius with good interior room
a VW diesel golf with a small interior room.
Is actually more expensive to operate fuel economy wise.
Reliablity wise, maybe the Prius will be more expensive to maintain over a 10 year period. I don’t know that yet.

I don’t like Toyota that much. But, I see why this thing gets major respect.
50 MPG, while providing a comfortable ride is something really hard to achieve. Plus, it’s affordable!
Other car makers are behind and my favorite Hyundai needs to catch-up

the only thing green about this car is the mpg, those batteries are nickel-metal hydride and will trash the environment when they need to be replaced. but ya with the electric motor the power is 134 which is still a joke if you actually enjoy driving
